"One of the best application on the Mac"
Version: MyMenuDate 3.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Congratulations to the developer of MyMenuDate!!! It's excellent... period...
I'm experience Mac User for years and this application is one of the best I test it.
It's very useful and is essential. Apple forgot this topic.
MyMenuDate is placed in nice way in the screen and is not like the stupit apple widgets that when you activate then takes all the attention of the user blocking the use of the rest of applications and MyMenuDate haven't this design error.
The developer is serious and give excellent and kindly support.
I recommend this application for any Mac User.
Cheers.

"Does just what it says."
Version: MyMenuDate 1.6
Pros
Since Mac's menu bar date & time are not really adjustable any more in Tiger, this fills a need.

"It's good, but..."

...not brilliant. I don't wish to sound like a moaning minnie, but I've been looking for a utility that would just allow a little customisation of the built-in clock. This was close, but no cigar unfortunately. These are my reasons for deciding not to use it:
1. Clicking on the clock to make it drop down is very difficult - it doesn't seem to work as a menubar item should, nor does it highlight properly. If it were somehow integrated with the main OS one, it would have worked better.
2. It's a shame it's an app instead of a prefpane - I think a prefpane would have been more appropriate.
3. Size is not very accurate. I was hoping for something about 1-2 point sizes smaller than the OSX menu clock, but all I can have in that range is Normal (too big) or Tiny (too small).
If none of these things concern you, then overall it is a decent solid piece of software with lots of customisation options. -

"An OSX MUST!"
Version: MyMenuDate 1.3
Summary

This developer is the best. He responds to questions and is open to suggestions and works tirelessly to solve problems. MyMenuDate is the best program of its kind. It uses a minimal amount of memory and is one of those little programs that should have been incorporated within the OSX system in the first place.
