This program tracks prescription information, including dosages and costs, but suffers from design and content issues. My Medications List's utilitarian interface lets you capture prescription details, but the tool tips available for its menu options don't explain the fields or formats. The Help file is bare-bones, but it does include a brief overview and a useful screenshot so you can view sample medication listings as a guide to entering your own. The three fields marked by an asterisk, Quantity, Pills/Day, and Cost, are required to calculate monthly, quarterly, and yearly expenditures, and entries can only be made numerically. The biggest drawback to the program is a file-saving quirk. Each time you save entries to a new file, the changes are reflected in all files. There's no explanation offered for this and no way to turn it off. Though it has flaws, this freeware is an inexpensive option for any user who needs to manage medications.
