"if you want to feel dizzy try this game"
Version: Music Space Invaders 3.2.2
Pros
It was free so I could see how bad it was.
Cons
The notes move. Not good for a dislexic. also it felt overwhelming when I missed the note. It also was very boring. The sound that the computer made when you won was annoying.
Summary
Dont' bother.

"I like the latest version"
Version: Music Space Invaders 3.2.1r1
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I bought and used this software back in version 3.1, but stopped using it when I had trouble keeping a dedicated midi keyboard/computer setup in place. I was looking for something like I used to learn touch typing, and Music Space Invaders fits the bill. Get the demo and try it out.
The current version has some notable improvements over the 3.0 version that I find make it quite attractive again. The software has many sound queues that enhance the learning process. You can now completely adjust these to your liking. You can also choose the direction the notes come from depending on your current learning focus.
Other great features that remain unchanged from the previous version are a fully functional downloadable demo version, native modern macosx implementation, and excellent midi integration. I haven't used the Grade Book or Lessons features much yet, but they seem like an obvious must for any sort of learning software.
I couldn't find the current price for the software, but I paid $50 for it in 2004 and in retrospect have no complaints. -

"HOW MUCH"
Version: Music Space Invaders 3.0r3
Summary

I cant beilive the cost of this software, while it is good, it doent justify the cost. My 7 year old is learning piano, and has found it useful, but I won't ne registering it at the end of the trial due to its very high cost. $15 would be nearer the mark. Put it at this cost and see the flood gates open with many registrations and make much more money into the bargain. 2 registrations at $50 = $100 8 lost sales, 10 registrations at $15 = $150 and 10 happy customers. Go figure. -

"Truth"
Version: Music Space Invaders 3.0

is there is nothing wrong with this app. I don't know what the others are saying/complaining about. It works great. HOWEVER, 50 bucks is WAAAAAAAAAY too much money. Should be no more than $20 before I'd buy it. -
"Buggest software I've ever used since Windows 95"
Version: Music Space Invaders 3.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I know that sounds harsh, but it's true, it launches, no visable errors, but it'll lock up in under 30 seconds everytime. I've forced quit this app a dozen times before I had to give up on this.
It sounds like a cool app, just didn't work.
