From AxBx :Multi Virus Cleaner is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove major viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when cleaning infected systems. Multi Virus Cleaner is regularly updated and can detect hundreds of common viruses, worms, Trojans, and dialers (including all variants of the Sober, MyDoom, Nyxem and Bagle viruses). The program offers a scanner that requires minimal processing power for repairing a compromised system. Multi Virus Cleaner detects over 5,500 viruses variants.

Version: Multi Virus Cleaner 2008 8.6.1
Pros: THe scan is quick but not very comprehensive. Scans memory and you can customize it.
Cons: When you try to close the progrm after finding nothing dangerous they will offer you the commercial version.
Summary: Not very useful, they try to sell the full version.

Version: Multi Virus Cleaner 2008 8.6.1
Pros: It has a nice interface and four scan modes quick scan, full scan, deep scan, custom scan, and it will scan memory.
Cons: On the quick scan it scanned 40,452 files for at risk and system files and found no infected files. When I close this program I get a pop-up to download Virus Keeper 2009 Pro. The data base is too small to detect viruses, worms, trojans, and dialers.
