From AxBx :Multi Virus Cleaner is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove major viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when cleaning infected systems. Multi Virus Cleaner is regularly updated and can detect hundreds of common viruses, worms, Trojans, and dialers (including all variants of the Sober, MyDoom, Nyxem and Bagle viruses). The program offers a scanner that requires minimal processing power for repairing a compromised system. Multi Virus Cleaner detects over 6,000 viruses variants. Multi Virus Cleaner can also scan memory (active processes).

Pros: Does ok job. pretty simple to use and easily updates itself.
Cons: Its not in the big leagues - for sure! I ran it off and on for over a year on clients computes and was disappointed. Like a cat, who is pretty use to a mouse in its territory, it simply nibbles at the edges and chases!

"Opened my Itunes library when downloaded???...lol"
Pros: Maybe it will work on a system not running Vista, maybe.
Cons: It is RARELY updated. Doesn't work with Vista Home Premium. Opens in ITunes? I mean really. ***? Looks like its on antithesis.(sp)

Pros: It's simple to use, a great interface, and is really fast. Also has many scanning options depending on how thorough and how fast you want it. It also doesn't take up much space on your RAM to run, unlike a lot of other scanners.
Cons: Well you can't minimize which is annoying and it is rarely updated, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's terrible.
