It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when cleaning infected systems. Multi Virus Cleaner is regularly updated and can detect hundreds of common viruses, worms, Trojans, and dialers (including all variants of the Sober, MyDoom, Nyxem and Bagle viruses). The program offers a scanner that requires minimal processing power for repairing a compromised system. Multi Virus Cleaner detects over 6,000 viruses variants. Multi Virus Cleaner can also scan memory (active processes).

Version: Multi Virus Cleaner 2007 7.7
Pros: OK. Interface is acceptably good to assist user to start a quick, full and even custom scan. If not mistaken user can select to disable program to detect some form of threats.
Cons: My system was infected with RavMonE threat, and this software hangs repeatedly, seems to be caused by 'memory error' and worst, when it stops working, the interface does not change so when it first happened, I did not know it has stopped responding.

Pros: So many people download this app but haven't see anyone say anything, is it no news mean good news ?

Pros: cant really tell much about virus scanners. but this one did detect a virus I knew was there. Even if it only detects from a list , its still better then nothing. It does try to remove them for free. I will never again trust a scanner who scans for free and offeres to remove for a fee. I got had on that one with xsoft. Not understanding virus as much as I should not much I can say about a virus scanner.
Cons: I have the sd_bot and of couse this soft ware detects it removes it and it right back again like all the other soft ware. But it does detect and remove as well as any of the rest of the programs. worth the effort. now to looking for more directions to remove the thing my hand :(.

"Don't Do It! CORRUPTED FILES!"
Cons: This was 1 of the most God-awful downloads! It gave me a time of over 3 hours, & to make matters worse, I got an error that the setup files were corrupted! Bad enough that they were corrupted, but then I tried to download the Ashampoo Antivirus & Accellerator programs, & they did the SAME THING! I know it wasn't my computer or connection (I checked). I am SHOCKED, to say the least.
