From AxBx :Multi Virus Cleaner is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove major viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when cleaning infected systems. Multi Virus Cleaner is regularly updated and can detect over 1,800 common viruses, worms, trojans, and dialers (including all variants of the Sober, MyDoom, and Bagle viruses). The program offers a scanner that requires minimal processing power for repairing a compromised system.
Version 3.8 can detect more viruses.

Version: Multi Virus Cleaner 2005 3.8
Pros: MVC is superior to many "clones" out there. The latest version has many improvements such as; using less memory making the scans much faster than before. The results are more in detail to what was found with an improved gui. I like Multi Virus Cleaner alot, It's catches alot of things. Highly recommended.

Pros: Very fast and esay to use. Better than Stringer.
Stinger detects only around 50 viruses whereas Multi Virus Cleaner detects over 2,000 recent viruses and threat.

Pros: I like the product it detacts everything on my computer,after my trial i will buy this.

Pros: What's not to like? It's free, it's simple and easy to understand, especially for those like me...not as computer savvy as I'd like to be. A click here, a click there and it's on it's way to detection. I had no infections, but now I'm confident I never will.
Cons: It's a zip file, which takes peeps like me a while to figure out, but with my computer's zip file extractor, it's a breeze once I figure out what I'm supposed to do next.
