Both the free and unlimited versions offer you open/locked file support, byte-level differential backups, 30-day file version archives, bandwidth throttling, private key encryption (optional), and multiple data restoration methods.

Version 1.16.0.8 adds an improved configuration interface, improved organization of advanced options, better client-reconnection timing, and more as well as fixes some bugs.

"Easy, clean & saved me after a crash."
Pros: One user error and tech support rescued me.
Cons: Not a lot of options in the free version.
Summary: I recommend it.

"Mozy automatically backs up my files every 12 hours."
Pros: Mozy does the job and I enjoy the security of seeing the Mozy pop up assuring me that the backup has completed successfully. Fortunately,I have not had the occasion to have to download the backup yet.
Cons: Maximum the free version will backup is 2 gigs. The cost of the unlimited backup is reasonable and I will soon upgrade so I can put a mass of photos on Mozy's drives.
