Both the free and unlimited versions offer you open-locked file support, byte-level differential backups, 30-day file version archives, bandwidth throttling, private key encryption (optional), and multiple data restoration methods. Version 1.14.1.6 adds a new red check-mark to indicate exclusionary backup sets, improves the file change monitor to record unusual disk write patterns, and fixes some bugs.

Pros: Not a thing good!
Cons: Unreliable (where you really need it), no customer service, scam, NOT FREE!
Summary: This product is an obvious scam. Once a trusted source, cnet has lost my trust. It is a shame.

"Mozy has a "dirty little secret"."
Pros: NONE - Its not a real backup strategy. "Unlimited" backups is really too good to be true.
Cons: In the fine print on their website. If you loose a file for any reason, Mozy will delete your backed up file off their server because it assumes that's what you wanted. Seriously, I kid you not. It's insane!!!

Pros: Price; unlimited storage
Cons: I started with the free service of 2 gigs, it took a few days using a high speed connection to transfer, I then upgraded to unlimited and it is now day 4 and I am still uploading for 4 gigs!
Summary: might be worth it but if there are others out there that are faster I would go with them. If you are going to try more then the free version only sign up for the month by month at first to see if the snails pace speed is worth it to you. My connecti... read more >>
