Download and install Mozy to ensure your photos, music, financial documents, email, and other important files are safely backed up at a secure, remote location. It's simple to setup--download Mozy, check the boxes next to the files to backup, and Mozy does the rest. Mozy is now faster than ever and allows backups of open/locked files (i.e. your Outlook file), uses 448-bit Blowfish encryption (to secure your data on our servers), uses 128-bit encryption over SSL (to secure your data during transport), and detects new and changed files to back them up automatically. Byte-level incremental backups mean only the changed parts of your files need to be backed up after the first backup, ensuring subsequent backups are lightning fast. Version 1.6.4.6 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Version: Mozy Remote Backup 1.6.4.8
Pros: I love this service. The price is right and the sofwware is super intelligent. I started with the free account (never received one mail from them) but quickly upgraded to a 60GB account and I am now in the process of uploading all my data to it. Amazing stuff! The pricing is also agressive enough to make this practical for anyone.
Cons: Nothing! A perfect online backup solution.

"Works great, but I could use more storage capacity"
Pros: I have tried putting Mozy through its paces and everything seems to work. Easy setup, easy configuration, easy file recovery. FREE! I suspect once word gets out that Mozy will be very popular.
Cons: I don't like to give out my email for fear of spam. Since Mozy requires this, I will have to see how much if any I get from them. I setup using my 2nd email, so can live with spam. Also, go to their WEB site and register first, then install the Mozy client. Finally, Mozy would be better with a bit more storage capacity, say 5GB. Since it's FREE, can't really complain.

"YES! This is the way to Backup."
Pros: I signed up for Mozy several months ago, and didn't need to restore from it until last month. My hard drive crashed, but Mozy restored all my photos, financial records, music, documents, spreadsheets, EVERYTHING!! I am ecstatic about Mozy.
I previously tried Carbonite, but I couldn't store all my files there (read that they limit their "unlimited" quotas to the average of all users, what a bait and switch). Since I have well over 50GB, I was denied the chance to even upload my files. Disappointing since I would like to have an unlimited backup.
