E-mail Mozilla-style with this full-featured client. Following in the footsteps of Mozilla's Firefox browser, Thunderbird is a flexible e-mail client and RSS reader packed with features such as a powerful junk-mail filter, a clean interface, and enterprise-grade security.
Thunderbird handles both POP and IMAP accounts admirably with easy setup for Gmail and .Mac accounts among others. The program boasts stellar security features such as S/MIME, digital signing, and message encryption. Visually ahead of the game, Thunderbird's customizable interface is a joy to use, and this latest update feels leaner and more focused than earlier versions. We like the layout options, which allow us to view our mail in various columned arrangements. The message tagging tools make it easy to find important messages quickly.
Other little perks include message searching, saved-search folders, import tools, smart-address completion, labels, return receipts, and anti-phishing protection. Mac users looking for a solid alternative to Apple's Mail program will find Thunderbird to be a flexible and feature-rich choice.

"I'm really liking Thunderbird!!"
Pros: Great spam filter, like the way it handles junk mail, love the look and the fact that you can customize so many things to suit your needs and likes

Pros: The way it handles spam is great. One of the best I have tried.
Cons: I couldn't find anything I really disliked about Thunderbird.
