Firefox 3.6 alpha 1 (Namoroka) is the first developer milestone of the next release of Firefox. Namoroka is built on pre-release version of the Gecko 1.9.2 platform, which forms the core of rich internet applications such as Firefox. Please note that this release is intended for developers and testers only.

This alpha of Namoroka/Gecko 1.9.2 introduces several new features, including moving Gecko to using one native widget per top-level content document, a new focus model, several new CSS3 properties, speed improvements to the TraceMonkey JavaScript engine, and startup and responsiveness improvements throughout the application.

"DOWNLOADS ARE TOO SLOW AND THE SYSTEM STALLS ON VISTA"

Pros: SAFE AND EFFECTIVE BROWSER

Cons: TOO SLOW DOWNLOADS AND STALLS AT TIMES ON VISTA

Summary: IT STILL NEEDS SOME WORK IN THE DOWNLOAD DEPARTMENT BUT OVERALL GOOD BROWSER. I FEEL SAFER USING IT OVER INTERNET EXPLORER WHICH CRASHES ALL THE TIME ON VISTA.
