From Mozilla :Note: Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 is a developer preview release of Mozilla's next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for testing purposes only.. Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 is based on the new Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 27 months and includes nearly 2 million lines of code changes, fixing more than 11,000 issues. Gecko 1.9 includes some major re-architecting for performance, stability, correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 has been built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers.
Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 is the first release candidate for Firefox 3, which has previously been available as a public beta.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 3 release candidate 1
Pros: Has great security features.
Cons: Still doesn't feel like a native Mac application because it has huge icons, the tab bar is huge. The interface overall makes me want to puke.

"Sturdy, reliable, flexible - now update the add-ons!"
Pros: The basic structure feels sturdier than earlier versions, fast and fluent.
Cons: The only criticism is that I am anxious for the earlier add-ons and extensions to be updated, particularly the themes (example: Redshift!)
