Though it's difficult to unseat Safari as the preferred browser of Mac users, Mozilla Firefox garners attention through its solid design and extra features, making it a worthy alternative. Its nimble and uncluttered interface houses only the most necessary features, with the option to easily add customized toolbars. Mozilla Firefox claims to be the fastest of all browsers, and while our tests have never yielded a huge difference in speed, we do know the more we use Firefox, the more we like it. We especially like the tabbed browsing, the handy extensions, and the cool-looking skins offered at the Firefox Web site. Also, Firefox seamlessly blocks unwelcome pop-up advertisements without requiring the download of any additional software. If you're looking for a light and agile browser or like the idea of customizable skins and useful extensions, you owe it to yourself to check out Firefox. Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6
Pros: As usual, with all version 2's, it's one of the best browsers available. This version though, opens faster and the paging is more solid in that it hit the links fully. It remains customizable and secure and the newest version of "Java Runtime" seems to work much better with "Firefox" then any IE based browser. I like it and now I use it more then any other browser installed on my system.
Cons: With each version released my cons go down. With 2.0.0.6, I have no cons to offer.
