Though it's difficult to unseat Safari as the preferred browser of Mac users, Mozilla Firefox garners attention through its solid design and extra features, making it a worthy alternative. Its nimble and uncluttered interface houses only the most necessary features, with the option to easily add customized toolbars. Mozilla Firefox claims to be the fastest of all browsers, and while our tests have never yielded a huge difference in speed, we do know the more we use Firefox, the more we like it. We especially like the tabbed browsing, the handy extensions, and the cool-looking skins offered at the Firefox Web site. Also, Firefox seamlessly blocks unwelcome pop-up advertisements without requiring the download of any additional software. If you're looking for a light and agile browser or like the idea of customizable skins and useful extensions, you owe it to yourself to check out Firefox. Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.3
Pros: Kind of like internet explorer but a little more cluttered. It has some cool ad-ons.
Cons: A lot of sites that claim they have downloads that are official updates for firefox that turn out to be a huge virus dont be tricked like I was. It comes with a lot of annoying features like spell check but they can be turned off. Also a lot of games on the internet cant be played with this. Video sites you can forget about most dont support firefox.
