Mozilla Firefox, formerly known as Firebird, has not quite become a fully stable product, but it does quite a few things other browser makers might want to take note of. Much like its predecessors, the latest update from the Mozilla project stays close to common users. Its clean and uncluttered interface houses only the most necessary features, with the option to easily add customized toolbars. Firefox claims to be lightning-fast in every way. In our preliminary findings and superficial comparison, we didn't notice dramatic acceleration, so we can't prove or dispute that claim. What we do know is that the more we use Firefox, the more we like it. As with all Mozilla browsers, it conforms well to standards, so pages from almost any site load and function properly. Tabbed browsing lets you set your home page as a group of tabs or open an entire folder of bookmarks in tabs. Firefox also seamlessly blocks unwelcome pop-up advertisements without requiring the download of any additional software. Disregarding the occasional stability problem, this browser suits both personal and professional use. Watch the CNET video review of Mozilla Firefox:

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7
Pros: Apple's Safari was my browser of choice until quite recently while using Mac OS X. I've given Firefox another go and the following are ture: RSS handling is different, but elegantly done. I love the live bookmarks. The security features are head and shoulders above as well, specifically in the content blocking area. Extensible.
Cons: UI still needs some polishing. Could use some optimizations for pipelining and the like out of the box

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7
Pros: I am a blogger and I noticed that my blogsite contained some features that I cant access via Safari. I didn't like to use the other browsers, as I was accustomed to the Safari interface. Now, I like it that I can even access sites that are "IE-only", whats more is that I dont have to type my username again and again - the site actually remembers my login name.
Cons: sometimes it takes too long to upload pages.

"an aesthetically pleasing and browser that flows wonderfully"
Pros: it is a simple and great browser that works excellently with mac computers and does not freeze nearly as much as Safari. And lets not even get started on internet Explorer. My internet explorer was causing me somuch trouble with java accessibility that i gave up. I could do nothing. by downloading FireFox onto my other windows computer with teh java script problems i felt like i was set free. I had all my capabilities back and have had no problems ever since. its a great product
Cons: unfortunately page layout and small visual aspects dont allign properly or show up as they would on IE and Safari, but it doesnt reallly effect my work
