The final release of Mozilla Firefox offers enough features to make you rethink Internet Explorer. You can easily create toolbars by dragging and dropping icons. Live Bookmarks turn RSS feeds into something that acts like a bookmarks folder. You can type Google search queries right into the address bar or use the built-in search box. The program displays the page source in a new window, using indents and color-coded tags like an HTML editor. You can view your bookmarks or history in the Sidebar area, which lets you quickly revisit your favorite sites. Though the browser hides its advanced settings, you can still build modules using XML, CSS, JavaScript, and even C . The program includes such tools as a JavaScript debugger and a DOM viewer.
At 55MB for 25 windows, the browser uses fewer resources than Internet Explorer but more than Opera. The built-in pop-up blocker works better than Opera's, IE's, and those of most paid standalone utilities. However, the download manager is still underdeveloped. Though the final release version vastly improves stability, we noticed occasional reluctance to maximize in response to Alt Tab commands. People who want more security than IE provides should look at Mozilla Firefox.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3
Pros: Fast, secure, and very configurable. You can skin it too. There are lots of extensions that enrich the browser. Millions of users are improving Firefox EVERY day. And it's also free! I give Firemonger CDs to friends to spread Firefox. Firemonger is downloadable from MozillaZine.org. To show support and compliments, I bought some Firefox t-shirts to give away with the CDs. I still find Opera faster though. But Firefox is improving in every build. In every extension made and downloaded, too. Get Firefox now and donate the same!
Cons: It hangs, but very seldomly though.
NOTE: Does anybody recommend a good setting for the "Tweak Network Settings" extension? Because I don't find any improvements when I choose the "Power User" option. If so, please DO reply.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3
"Greatest Browser now even more secure!"
Pros: 1. Tabbed Browsing
2. pop-up blocker
3. fast
4. secure
5. RSS
6. Extensions and Themese at update.mozilla.org add more features to firefox. This includes extensions like adblock and mouse gestures. Firefox was built to be used with extensions. The bare firefox browser only has the basic needs of internet browsing.
Cons: None! Contrary to the popular belief by the press that having security updates means the browser is unsafe, is wrong. All browsers have some flaws. The updates just show that Firefox does something about the flaws it finds.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3
"All you have to do is use it..then you'll know....."
Pros: Too many pros to list. Use it, then you'll see. Except for the 2 cons below, it is better then any other browser i've used, bar none.
Cons: A very small percentage of websites are made to work exclusively with IE. They're becoming fewer and fewer though.
Also it can't (last time i checked) save a webpage as a single file. I wouldn't be suprised if there's a plugin that fixes that though.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3
Pros: I have used it for 4 months and now upgrading to version 1.0.4 and am satisfied with this brower.
Since IE is targeted by many virus, Firefox is safer alternative to surf the world of internet.
Inspite of some cons below, I still recommend you to install it for surfing the website that you are not sure of its security.
Cons: For some local language, it shows incomplete alphabet.
Moreover, some website doesn't support firefox due to firefox just become more popular last few months
