Note: Firefox 2 RC3 is a developer preview release of the next-generation Firefox browser and it is being made available for testing purposes only. Firefox 2 RC3 is intended for Web application developers and the Firefox testing community. Current users of Mozilla Firefox 1.x should not use Firefox 2 RC3.

Firefox 2 will aim to build on the success of Firefox by addressing issues related to the problem of managing the vast amounts of information available on the Internet. Our goal is to provide a browser that helps users manage and organize their online information channels. The latest pre-release version of Firefox 2 includes enhanced security in the extension system, support for Sherlock and OpenSearch search plug-ins, and a new Windows installer, among other updates.

Note: Beta or prerelease software is not intended for inexperienced users, as the software may contain bugs or may potentially damage your system. We strongly recommend that users exercise caution and save all mission-critical data before installing or using this software.
