MovingPicture is a tool for documentary and industrial filmmakers to pan and zoom on high-resolution images.

MovingPicture takes scanned images up to 4,000 pixels and allows for perfectly repeatable pans and zooms directly from your nonlinear editors timeline.

MovingPicture is very simple to use. The image appears on the screen. Dragging and sizing a framing box icon on top of it changes the view, adding key frames onto the timeline.

You can preview the motion in real time without any rendering, so the design process is very rapid. All motion paths are smooth, splined and tapered. Motion is field rendered to sub-pixel accuracies.

MovingPicture is a plug-in for both Macintosh and Windows based editors including After Effects, Avid, Canopus, dspVelocity, Discreet edit, Final Cut Pro, Media 100, Premiere, RexEdit, and SpeedRazor.

MovingPicture is also available as a standalone application for Windows or Macintosh computers to create AVI or QuickTime movie files, as well as Macromedia Flash files and VideoCDs.

Auto-Adding of KeyFrames

Whenever you move the camera, the position will automatically be saved to the timeline, without the need for hitting the Add Key button as before. If there is a key at the time you are parked at, it will be updated. If there isn't one there, a new one will be added. You can go back to the old way of working by un-checking the "Auto-Add Keys" item in the "Options" menu. Remember you can always undo the action with the undo key (Ctrl-Z). This should be ...
