"Not free, just a trial version"
Pros: Simple to use for simple quick multi-track recording.
Cons: Including itself and non of the additional software "Add-ons" are free. Don't know why they mark it as free if it's not!.

"multiple apps for one freeware file"
Pros: the mixer is easy to use though not as great as professional mixers. Switch is good for converting sound files (but I prefer MMconvert because it also converts videos. Wavepad is also a decent sound editing tool.
expressrip gives you more control compared to WMP.
Cons: Recordpad is as good as MS sound recorder.

"Excellent and it's realy freeware."
Pros: Did exactly what 'Mixing' means.It
stand high in its unique feature to arranging the sound clips on a time scale so that you can exactly decide when a particular clip has to be played.
Tough to beleive its a freeware

"great freeware does all it says it does!!!"
Pros: great software for mixing tracks, changing format, recording from youre sound card and burning cds if u install all the add-ons it comes with and the best part is its all actually free. it also works good with vista unlike some other programs.
Cons: not any major problems just the extra "add-ons" install as separate programs not really add-ons and it dosent support protected wma files
