the plug-in comes with 32 professional blend masks created by our art department.
since this plug-in allows you to place and blend movies at arbitrary size with arbitrary blend masks, it allows effects in a single pass that most FCE users will be hard-pressed to achieve in a whole day. finally, as a member of our ''reference class'' series, it also allows real-time preview for all editing.
What should I use it for? Use this plug-in whenever you need to insert a movie into your clip, but need more finesse (e.g. blending, shaping) than our 'multiple movies' or 'minify' plug-ins offer. We recommend that you use it for any non-trivial composition work that doesn't require chroma keying, e.g. * blending two or more movies * knock-out style overlays of two or more movies (e.g. ?burning letteres? with real flames) * documentary-style blends of narrator and story * flashback-style blends * overlay-blends/insertions * side-by-side synched montages * video-wall montages etc.
