Service Pack 5 provides the latest updates to Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0 (including Enterprise Edition). This is the standard (40-bit) encryption version of Service Pack 5 (Intel) and contains current updates for known Windows NT 4.0 security issues, year 2000 issues, euro support and more. Service Pack releases are cumulative: they contain all previous fixes and any new fixes made to the system.

CNET Editor's Note: Service Pack 5 does not update Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.
