No pros at all, it's all bad.
Cons
It says my device is unplugged when I try to install the driver so im getting nowhere, this has gotta be the worst experience i've ever had with a phone. Windows has ruined yet another thing for me.

RUN AWAY FROM ANY WINDOWS MOBILE PHONE YOU ARE CONSIDERING. It will cost you more time and effort that you have or want to spend. If I could rate this software a zero, I would. I This software is so inflexible, and an not very stable.
Summary
I am not a newbie to smart phones. I have been syncing my phone with my home & office pcs since the late 1990's and never had the number of problems that I have with the software.
Since I got this Windows Mobile software using phone I have had problems with duplicates, missing appointments when I was syncing my phone with my home pc and office pc - both WinXP. However, ever since my home pc has been upgraded to Windows Vista, the syncs constantly fail because of the two OSes. WinXP uses Active Sync, while Vista uses Windows Mobile. Of course Microsoft couldn't make something that would bridge that version difference. I am always deleting the syncing software on my phone and on both pcs so that I can do some semblance of syncing. However, I never know what I've lost and how many duplicates it causes. I can not ever sync my notes because something in the software doesn't know what they are.
This is just the worst software I have ever used - for phones and as software generally. -

Summary
I've had nothing but trouble with this. The MS support forum is filled with people having similar problems. There are several problems that keep popping up: "Outlook not installed", all contacts getting erased randomly off the phone, failing to synchronize, etc. All of the solutions given are time-consuming and so far none have worked. It could be problems with HTC phones as that seems to be the majority of problems reported.

Because I re-formatted my computer, I forgot to change the settings to move my items from the phone to the computer, instead it was the other way around like I do normally and I lost all my numbers and information.....

Easy to use but like the previous versions, you can easily lose all yours numbers and information if you are not careful.

How could Microsoft make a sync program for Vista, yet it will not sync windows mail, contacts, or calendar, which comes with Vista?? Oh no, you need to install Outlook 2007 or earlier (or buy Microsoft Office) in order to get your mail and contacts. This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen since it's designed and required to sync smartphones with Vista...ActiveSync will not work
