This download provides the DirectX end-user multi-languaged redistributable that developers can include with their product. The redistributable license agreement covers the terms under which developers may use the Redistributable. This package is localized into Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Swedish, and English.
What's new in this version: The DirectX redist installation includes all the latest and previous released DirectX runtime. This includes D3DX, XInput, and Managed DirectX components.

install looks confusing,had to watch a video on how to install this.

unexpected 157 files on this download!
highly recomend making new folder and saving to it.
then choose sort files by right clicking.
setup file will move to top of list, "dxsetup".
open that and it will install the rest.
to check if all worked,go to START,RUN,TYPE DXDIAG,THEN ENTER. will show if you have directx and version. cheers -
