From Nord-Soft :Messenger Pro is an instant messaging communications application designed for users on a local network (LAN). There is a secure network messaging software application. Does not require any Internet access or servers for it to work. Messenger works across an Ethernet network, using the TCP/IP protocol to send and receive data. As an instant personal or group text messaging (without restriction of length of the text), files (any count, any size), and intuitive interface as famous programs like ICQ, and MSN Messenger. No server is required as the architecture is completely peer-to-peer, allowing users to communicate directly with one another.
