"Very limited functionality, not worth any payment"

Summary
First, the product is bad with serious limitations. Second, those who have posted here that Ulead tech support is awful are 100% correct. I used the trial product, thought it was OK, then purchased it. I found out it does not allow the expanding menu to be visible over an existing web page, as it clearly does on the Ulead web site. I contacted tech support, rep said he didn't have an answer for me. Then I used the tech support submission form and didn't hear back from them after two weeks, so I submitted another form and didn't hear back for another week. Then I called customer service (fourth contact) for a refund. The rep told me the product doesn't do what I want it to do. I said it obviously works on the their own Ulead main page, whereupon he said they don't use their own product on their web site, instead they created their expanding menu with XML! Then he said they won't refund my money because it was a download and suspected I was trying to defraud them! He said "I talked with my superior, who said the product is performing exactly as it said it would. You should have discovered it's limitations during the trial period." And, he said all this with an attitude. UNBELIEVABLE! Do not, I repeat, waste money on this product or this company. I own Ulead's PhotoImpact 8 and am happy with it, but if I could get a refund for it just for the principle of it, I would. I am going to my bank to charge back the $49 I paid for this product.

Nice program if it worked! Applets break up in browser rendering the program useless. When i contacted ULead for support, all i got back was a form letter saying they'll get back to me. Haven't heard back from the since. Some support!

The technical support from Ulead is disgraceful. We downloaded the trial, and then purchased the full version. There was (and is) a problem with the full version, in that it continues to display a message that we are using a 'trial version' of the applet....and no one at Ulead can seem to help us. In fact, getting anyone's attention at Ulead (whether by phone, email, or web forum) is next to impossible....and EXTREMELY frustrating. I would not recommend purchasing ANY product from this company, if this is the expected level of quality and technical support.

It´s an easy-to-use very good program for creating cool menus. But...I only recommend you download this if you are willing to pay 29.99$ for it...cause it places an annoying "This is a trial version" on the menu, when you upload it!
