It's difficult to determine if this memory card data recovery tool will work when called upon, simply because the publishers seem to have got their wires crossed. Memory Card Pictures Recovery Restore may be the title listed, but the program downloaded is Data Doctor Recovery Memory Card. The program's interface is circa Windows 95 with cartoon buttons and a simple file tree.
Despite the identity issues, operating the program is a mere matter of starting it and clicking the drive containing the memory card. The program slowly searches the card sector by sector. Hopefully, after a few minutes, the interface fills with a list of found files. During our tests it more often than not failed to find deleted files or recover files from damaged cards. However, when it did find a file, it seemed easy to save it to another drive with a single button click. Seemed was the operative word, because that feature was disabled in the demo. Our testers were greatly disappointed when confronted with that limitation. There is no way to determine if this program can successfully knit together sectors to recover a photo.
From the program name confusion through the dated interface, and ending with the too strict demo limitation there isn't any reason to recommend this utility. There are many similar programs in this genre that achieve better results with less trouble.
