After installation you will be able to play 99.9% of files on the internet, along with XCD's, VCD's, SVCD's and DVD's. Also included in the package are a number of encoder codec's, allowing you to encode files in formats such as DivX. XviD, x264 and many more in your favourite encoding application. Compression types supported include DivX, XviD, x264, h.264 and many more in AVI, MKV, OGM, MP4 files. "This is an Impressive Codec Pack"
Pros: This is a very good add on for several players. It is a virtual Swiss Army Knife of Codecs. This package is very neat and easily installs. This is a very good way for the newer user to add power to Windows Media Player, and a great collection for the more advanced user. This is a much better package than I have see elsewhere, particularly on some of the p2p nets. I look forward to updates.
It DOES NOT contain any Spy-ware, simply pay attention and uncheck any unwanted software upon instillation.

"FLV player does not work on windows media"
Pros: nice that is in windows media player.
Cons: what happened to the most basic video file you want to see. I can see my red hot chili peppers or U2 flv files . is there a step I am missing ? luckily , it plays the mkv file (movie preview) it plays the file but no video sound, just audio ***..
