Pros: You can find allmost anything here.
Especially if You know what You are searching for.
Free of costCons: It a bit of a jungle-and You have to have
some knowledge of medical terms
to get the most out of it.

"This is an EXTREMELY helpful utility for transcription"
Pros: This gives many possible choices for medical abbreviations, even some obscure and specialized ones. This is helpful if a transcriptionist is unsure exactly which letters a physician dictated, e.g., N vs. M.
Cons: I have not found a FEW abbreviations; however, these were VERY specialized ones that were not at all common in general medicine. Also, I wish it were possible to just press ENTER after inputting an acronym, instead of clicking the "GO" button.
Summary: I've been using this software for almost 6 years, and it has been my constant desktop companion. Every time I get a new PC, it is one of utilities I list as a "MUST DOWNLOAD" to reinstall because I use it so frequently. It has saved me from having... read more >>
