MaxType Lite is a multifunctional typing tutor. This program allows you not only to test and practice your typing skills with any TXT file, but also to print out your test diplomas (statistical data will give you the information of about 20 parameters of your typing) and even replay the MTR-record file of your own typing. The built-in extreme typing mode will help you increase your typing speed.

Version: MaxType Lite Typing Tutor 1.6.18

"The program seemed like a big ad for the pro version"

Pros: It let me type stuff and told me how fast I was. The typing test with the text about Japan was fairly interesting and informative.

Cons: It was annoying because everywhere it was just telling me about the pro version. I just want a simple, free program that gives me a means to improve my typing speed and accuracy. MaxType wasn't it.

"I didn't really like this one..."

Cons: Program doesn't seem to reconise spaces at the end of a line. This causes many errors and results in poor scores
