From AskMeSoft :MaxType Lite is a multifunctional typing tutor. This program allows you not only to test and practice your typing skills with any TXT file, but also to print out your test diplomas (statistical data will give you the information of about 20 parameters of your typing) and even replay the MTR-record file of your own typing. The built-in extreme typing mode will help you increase your typing speed.
Version 1.5.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: Does not work.Asks for user name then
will not start. I dont think its free.
Cons: Dont waste your time.

Pros: nothing. it is a misleading sales gimmick
Cons: interface is sloppy and confusing. the download has no tutorial, no trial lessons, you have to download that from their site. It has only limited accessibilty. You can't even give it a tryout. Instructions sound like bad translation from Japanese. A real POS. Dont waste your time.

"Great program! The best among free typing tutors!"
Pros: I liked MaxType very much because of user-friendly interface, good functionality and ability to type any TXT file. What about Extreme typing mode... it's really wonderful! I've increased my speed in a week of regular use of MaxType LITE.
