Version: MaxType Lite Typing Tutor 1.4.5
Pros: Compelling graphs after you take each test
Lots of statistical data, including frequently mistyped letters, and CPM (Characters Per Minute) per hand.
Cons: The interface isn't polished (other than the cheezie picture of a mountain road
It tries to get you to purchase the "Professional" product when the free one is cheesie.
The tests are full of typo's. This would be easily correctable, as they're just text files. Oh, and there are no return characters or spaces after each line, which can get really tricky, and add to your error count.
Once you've completed their buggy quizzes, it doesn't let you know how many Words Per Minute you type at, only Characters Per Minute!
