CNET Editors' review
Some users swear by browser autofill tools, but this Internet Explorer helper works only sporadically. From the blinking mascot to the grid-based fields, Max Secure Autofiller's tab interface is cute but basic.
Everything is clear and easy to find, but field names are locked. That's important, as this application matches field names found on a Web site to the field names found in Max Secure Autofiller. At least that's the idea, but we found it rarely works that well. Open your favorite blog to leave a comment, and this application fills in your job title data in the Web site's name field. It worked as haphazardly in other sites we tested. It was easy to create an identity but difficult to fill browser forms with that data.
Max Secure Autofiller easily password-protects your data, quickly generates passwords, and offers multiple identities. What it doesn't do is fill out forms correctly. In our view, every level of user will find that the three-day trial provides more than enough time to uninstall this demo.
