From Firetrust :MailWasher is a program to help you get rid of spam and viruses in your e-mail. MailWasher allows you to preview all aspects of your e-mail on the server before you download it to your computer, thus protecting you from spam, viruses, phishing attacks, and other nuisances. You can then delete unwanted e-mail before it gets to you. Other features help identify and protect you against viruses and worms. Also included are comprehensive antispam tools, recycle bin and many other features. Free version supports single e-mail account, and has no auto delete feature and no user support.

Version: MailWasher Free 6.1
Pros: I have a junk email filter with outlook 07, and I can create rules for certain messages that I dont want, to go into a specific folder but I want to stop the mail from coming to me to begin with. You can do that with mailwasher .What I like most of all is the ability to bounce back email. I kept getting email from two sources after I unsubscribed to each one, and they just kept sending me messages. I downloaded Mailwasher and bounced both of them one time each and I never got an email from them again. When you do that it looks like you no longer have an account, kind of like a telezapper if you know what i mean. Anyway its a great tool for anyone that wants to get rid of spam.

"problem upgrade 5.1 to 6.1 .. good progie, no way to leave bug report"
Pros: worked well, easy to use, preformed its functions as it said, nice to have free and paid version. would have upgraded to paid if not for the problem.
Cons: new version 6.1 doesnt work well with Win95 6540x480 resolution, cant resize windows to make fit properly. put on this old lappy to test new ver. as as regular puter wont load new copy over old one.
wouldnt upgrade from 5.1 to 6.1 couldnt go back to old version either. I was going to get paid version but wanted to upgrade to new version to see how I liked it. Dont know if will get paid version as I cant find out if problem is in paid version too. There is no way to leave bug report.
