From Arclab Software Technologies :MailList Controller is an e-mail mailing list and marketing solution designed to send out personalized messages, manage multiple mailing lists, newsletters, campaigns, e-zines, announcements, support, and group mails. The program runs on your desktop, workstation, or server. The WYSIWYG editor allows you to create personalized rich-text (HTML) messages or you use your default mail client. Other features are: webform requests, single and double opt-in, ODBC support, linked lists, returned message detection. The Free version is limited to 1 list with 100-recepients.
Version 7.0 adds new features like: SSL, StartTLS, Directory Drop Mode, Updated User Interface and Subsets (Queries).

Version: MailList Controller Free 7.0
"Good Demo Product, Faulty Descriptions"
Pros: Fairly intuitive interface was easy to create both content and to import mail lists. Supports creating WYSIWYG content in RTF, with ability to see results in HTML and plain text. Provides HTML editor for when that is needed. Robust support for data import and merge.
Cons: The bullet description of the product indicates that there are no limitations, but the "free" version of the product is in fact quite limited. Only one mail list can be created at a time, and that list is limited to 100 email addresses. (This is hidden in the small print of the description. Without this limitation (i.e. the not-free versions) this is a stellar product(6 stars); with the limitations it won't meet my needs for multiple and larger lists (2 stars). I'll buy the commercial product, but this should be labeled as a limited demo product.
