From Arclab Software Technologies:MailList Controller is an e-mail mailing list and marketing solution designed to send out personalized messages, manage multiple mailing lists, newsletters, campaigns, e-zines, announcements, support, and group mails. The program runs as service on your desktop, workstation, or server. You can use the built-in mailserver for direct delivery or use an external SMTP server. The WYSIWYG editor allows you to create personalized rich-text (HTML) messages or you use your default mail client. Other features are: webform requests, single and double opt-in, ODBC support, linked lists, returned message detection. The free version supports one list with max. 100 recipients (bigger licenses available for purchase).
Version 5.2 features: minor changes in GUI; added list specific delayed send mode; added statistic information for incoming messages.

Version: MailList Controller Free 5.2
"Overall the Best One I have tried!!"
Pros: I have recently installed "MailList Controller" and I found the set-up procedures to be straight forward and fairly easy to accomplish. When I sent test HTML newsletters everything worked faultlessly. I like the general feel of the program and would recommend that you give it a try.
Cons: So far, I have not experienced any negatives with this product.

Pros: The program has an internal smtp,different options to write your email,and easy way to manage your subscribers.The best.
Cons: The free version just gives one list and 100 members.

Pros: The program has alot of options for managing mailing lists, and it does include a smtp server. It allowed for multiple ways to send the mailing.
Cons: There were too many options it took me a long time to get where I was going, a lot of trial and error took place.

Pros: With being on the road all the time, the ability to to compose a message and then send it to the distribution list is a most valuable tool. Then add on the funtionality of being able to import lists or link to external sources is great as well.
Cons: I believe the free version is a good product, but I wasn't able to fully test out the import functionality because of the limitation to only 100 list members.

"Simple and doing all a mailing app should do"
Pros: Easy to set up. Hardly need the manual. On-line help is OK. At our office Maillist Controller sends e-mails through the company's smtp server. Works fine. Internal mail editor is OK for simple messages. For complex messages we use MS FrontPage. Exchange of messages between Maillist Controller and FrontPage is perfect.
Cons: Support site and support is poor. But you hardly need support.
