Publisher's description
From Ixis :E-mail and mailing lists have become an important feature for many Web sites and individual PC users. Whether you are notifying customers of new products or simply sending an E-mail message to a group of friends, mailing lists offer a quick and easy way of communicating.
Mail Bomber is a basic, yet surprisingly flexible, tool for sending mass E-mails. It provides everything you need for managing mailing lists, writing E-mail messages and sending them over the Internet. In fact, you can maintain a number of separate mailing lists, E-mail messages and SMTP servers for different audiences and needs. Mail Bomber is very easy to use. All of its main features are accessible from the main interface. Version 9.9 includes unspecified updates.

Version: Mail Bomber 9.9
Pros: HTML sender functionality works well in conjunction with a cut and paste from Frontpage's code page. We liked this a lot.
It's enormously easy to use
It's enormously fast. I mean REALLY ENORMOUSLY fast.
Check the low registration price. Why try out something flashier if you can't afford it in the long run anyway?
It's genuine old fashioned shareware with no impeding usage limit rubbish or banners if you want to try it or use it for a one off job. More power to the developers for that. Too much interfence in other trialware these days.
Cons: WARNING HAIR TRIGGER!!! When you first use this software set up a mail group with just your own addresses in it and stick to that till you know how it works. This software will NOT warn you before sending the wrong mail to the wrong people and a small element of bad design in the "which mail is for which group" selection unfortunately makes that mistake fairly likely. If you do make a mistake it's tremendous speed will unfortunately drive that home hard before you can press the abort button. (C'mon Ixis... A "do you really want to send this message to these lists" confirmation dialogue wouldn't have been hard would it?)
No inbuilt HTML editor (but we say "jolly good" to that. Cut and paste from a an -existing favourite editor is better in some ways)
No HTML validator etc.
...You get the picture. It's rapid, dumb, cheap and raw but we still liked it for its good points. Just the one star off for its rawness. This is a very good program regardless.
