Like a handful of assorted Jelly Bellys, Magic Jellybean Dictionary mixes sweet experiences with sour ones. It's not a dictionary itself; instead, it connects to an online server that contains several popular and not-so-popular public-domain information sources, including Webster's Unabridged Dictionary (probably the 1913 version), the CIA World FactBook, and Easton's 1897 Bible Dictionary. It offers a simple, easy-to-use interface. However, the program has several weak points. You can't resize the program window, which can be a problem for words that return a long entry. The typeface is small and unadjustable, so people with bad eyesight might have problems using the program. Also, you can search only one database at a time, and you need an Internet connection to access the server. On the upside, the program installs and uninstalls quickly and launches in a flash. Amateur etymologists may find the program handier than a bulky dictionary, albeit less authoritative and up-to-date.Publisher's description
From Magical Jelly Bean Software :Magical Jellybean Dictionary, formerly known as Dict, is a freeware dictionary client that retrieves definitions from a database on a dictionary server. It can print definitions, copy them to your clipboard, and save them to text files. It also supports command-line queries. Version 1.1 lets you connect to any server by editing the INI file.

Version: Magical Jellybean Dictionary 1.1
"Many online dictionaries already available"
Pros: This program is easy to use and consise.
Cons: However, you need to have an internet connection to use it. Why not just go to some free, online dictionary, instead of downloading yet another program onto your computer?

Version: Magical Jellybean Dictionary 1.1
"Not a better dictionary program out there"
Summary: For its size and ease of use, you can't beat this program. Extremely useful for writing, reading, or even checking spelling, if you don't have a spell check (like when writing an email).
