From MagicISO :MagicDisc Virtual CD/DVD-ROM is a utility designed for creating and managing virtual CD drives and CD/DVD discs. MagicDisc Virtual CD/DVD-ROM emulates audio, data, and game CDs and DVDs with ISO image, CD and DVD images. MagicDisc Virtual CD/DVD-ROM offers 200x speed and noiseless CD/DVD access without a physical drive. It supports creating up to 15 virtual drivers. You can run games, software, see movies (VCD, SVCD, DVD), and hear music directly from your hard disk without inserting and swapping CDs and DVDs. MagicDisc allows you to use almost all CD/DVD image without burning them onto CD or DVD in order to easily access your favorite games, music, or software programs. It works like a real CD/DVD-ROM: You can run programs, play games, or listen to music from your virtual CD-ROM. It can compress ISO CUE MDS NRG CCD image; can encrypt ISO CUE MDS NRG CCD image; can make ISO image from CD/DVD; It can mount UDF only CD/DVD image and multi-session MDS/MDF and CCD/IMG image.
Version 2.6.93 can set DVD Region Code.

Pros: Comes with built in virtual CDROM/DVDROM drive capabilities. Works well with a lot of image format.

"Does what description says and a little more."
Pros: It is a good disk emulator that allows a lot of different file types. I found the 'How to' section to be interesting and helpful. Having the ability to make Disc Images is helpful as well.
Cons: I only downloaded the software to be able to load .daa files which is proprietary in nature and thus bothersome. This file type would not bother me if more disk emulators supported it.

Pros: Well, all I was looking for was a program to mount .iso and .bin files. This one does it and I have not had any problems. Using Windows Vista 64-bit.

"Lightweight, intuitive, works every time."
Pros: I am not sure why the other Vista reviewers have had problems with this. I have run this program on Windows Vista Business Edition without any trouble whatsoever for 4+ months. Never a lock up. Always a successful mount. I have also installed this on several XP machines. It is lightweight, very easy to use and has always worked for me. I recommend it to everyone.
Cons: Never had a problem.

Pros: i tried to open an iso w/ another "magic" iso maker. keyword tried. i did open it with magicdisc. i use magicdisc quite abit. i get errors about missing files w/ other makers. but i would recommend magicdisc over any other "magic" iso maker out there.
Cons: i did have trouble backing up one of my dvd's but couldn't get the DVD to backup w/ other software. i gave up too soon, i know it was a matter of; move this there.
