From MagicISO :MagicDisc Virtual CD/DVD-ROM is a utility designed for creating and managing virtual CD drives and CD/DVD discs. MagicDisc Virtual CD/DVD-ROM emulates audio, data, and game CDs and DVDs with ISO image, CD and DVD images. MagicDisc Virtual CD/DVD-ROM offers 200x speed and noiseless CD/DVD access without a physical drive. You can run games, software, see movies (VCD, SVCD, DVD), and hear music directly from your hard disk without inserting and swapping CDs and DVDs.
MagicDisc allows you to use almost all CD/DVD image without burning them onto CD or DVD in order to easily access your favorite games, music, or software programs. It works like a real CD/DVD-ROM: You can run programs, play games, or listen to music from your virtual CD-ROM. Allowing you to run your game images at over 200x faster than from a conventional CD/DVD-ROM. It is a helpmate of MagicISO Maker.

Version: MagicDisc 2.1.28
Pros: Tried a similar program a couple of years ago and it worked well. This one didn't.
Cons: Ran normal setup in XP but was never able to open the core program, so never able to set up any virtual drives. I did get quick-launch icons that don't seem to do anything by themselves.
MAJOR PROBLEM -- THIS PROGRAM WON'T UNINSTALL THROUGH WINDOWS.

Pros: Reads ISOs, makes "virtual" hardware. Windows told me I had a new CD-ROM. Quick install.

Pros: Nice! should use with the "Magic ISO Maker" trial; plays games, programs, movies, etc. seamlessly! Can't recommend enough!

"Horrible - Impossible to uninstall"
Cons: Useless. The only thing it did properly was install. Wouldn't uninstall by itself or even through Windows add/remove programs. Have yet to find a way to _manually_ remove it, even. Don't download this.

"MagicDisc on Windows Vista???"
Pros: This worked great on my Wndows XP and is great for people who use .iso's or other image files often.
Cons: I've just installed Windows Vista and i'm not sure whether or not it's going to work on the new OS, but i think it will. if it doesn't work i'll reply again.
