CNET Editors' review
Store select system data for easy transfer to another PC using this simple freeware utility. This is a program is written for experienced users, but even novices should find it easy to understand. Magic Transfer's simple list and check box interface doesn't require a Help file to understand.
Operating this tool is quick and easy. The program stores settings in five major areas: system settings, Internet Explorer options, Outlook Express data, Firefox settings, and select files. Each area has easily selected options. With just a click you can save your configuration of selected options. After making your selections you merely click one button to actually back up the data and settings. A helpful option saves everything to a self-extracting file.
To move your settings to another PC simply transfer the backup file to the new PC and execute it. Magic Transfer opens a restore dialog to give users the option to overwrite or rename files as they're transferred to the new system. Any person who uses more than one PC will find this freeware utility a tool to keep.
Publisher's Description
From Smart PC Solutions:
Magic Transfer is the easiest solution for synchronizing settings and information on several PCs that you use constantly. Many people use two or more PCs - on work, at home, on a trip or at friends' place. If all of these computers, in some magic manner, were able to keep track of all your recent changes and all the work done, you would find in Favorites a new bookmark or would have all the emails from your office PC in your home computer.
