This interesting puzzle works your mind. The aim of Magic Inlay is to fill mosaic figures with gem-like puzzle pieces that pile in from right to left. You have to think and act quickly to prevent the line from overloading while filling in all the empty spaces. If the line overflows, you have to start the level over. At the beginning of the level, you choose an amulet that gives you special powers, such as protection against the level boss. Magic tools let you destroy a jewel you can't fit or create a jewel to fit an empty space. Bonuses increase your score or raise the number of times you can use the magic tools. If you can't fit a jewel into a figure, you can drag it to the drop room, a conveyor belt that carries away one jewel at a time. The game's practice level lets you figure out strategies without the pressure of time or jewel overflow issues. The only problem is that the game requires RealOne Arcade, which can be intrusive and time-consuming. Magic Inlay provides a welcome challenge for those who are tired of Lines clones, especially if they already have RealOne Arcade installed.Publisher's description

"Beautiful graphics, nice music and challenges the brain."
Pros: This is an addictive game especially as you progress up the levels. About the time you think you have it mastered, it'll get you and you have to start over. The music is soothing and doesn't take away from your concentration. The graphics are especially nice. Some of the jewels are tricky about where you can put them, making this a challenging game.
Cons: Unfortunately, once you have downloaded this game and played it on RealArcade for the 60 mins trial period, you can't download it and play it another time. }:-(
60 minutes isn't enough time to play the different board layouts if you are progressing in the first game you select. All the different "Inlay" games are like this. One week time trial would be nicer and two weeks a definite plus. RealArcade is okay IF you get your "free" (7.99 a month fee) game each month....otherwise it's costly!

"Something different that's actually good!"
Summary: Basic rules to the game but enough extras to keep you entertained, fairly easy to play with enough going on to keep you interested,I would score it 8.5 out of 10

Summary: Very good, but it's a pity the trial only lasts for one hour!
