From Macrium Software :Macrium Reflect is an award winning backup and disk imaging solution for Vista, XP and Server 2003. Reflect can backup files and folders into a compressed mountable archive file or your entire PC into a single image. Using this image you can restore the entire disk, partition or individual files and folders. You can create full, differential and incremental images to optimize backup speed and disk space requirements. Images can be stored on local or network drives, CD or DVD media, and removable drives connected using USB or Fire Wire. In the event of a total loss of the Windows operating system your PC can be started using the Reflect recovery CD. This CD starts a compact version of Linux or Windows PE 2.0 with a familiar mouse and graphical interface. You can then recover partitions and entire disk images with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Version: Macrium Reflect 4.2 build 2042
"Wasn't able to make an image"
Pros: Seems simple and very user friendl
Cons: Upon analysis error read: "MFT corrupt - Error Corde=6 Please run 'checkdisk /f'' I have no idea what that means. My computer seems to run fine.
Summary: Can't really tell. Image was not made. Support for this version is non-existent.

"This is a very good and easy to use product!"
Pros: We reinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium on a larger hard drive using the assist of an external hard drive and it worked perfectly. The product has a simple backup and restore system with minimal need for the help file. It worked perfectly.
Cons: None it functioned as claimed!!!
Summary: It is simple to use and it installed all programs we like on the new hard drive exactly the same as it was on the old hard drive. None of the programs were broken. Everything was fully functional after restore was complete. Just make sure that the b... read more >>
