New technology allows the same sharp detailed images as the original Digital Raster Graphics maps from Natural Resources Canada, except they are compressed to save space without losing resolution. MacTopos Ontario North work with James Associates' MacGPS Pro software (available separately) to automatically show your current position and velocity on the correct map in real time using most GPS receivers. If you have a supported Garmin or Magellan GPS receiver, you can also electronically transfer your Waypoints, Routes, and Tracklogs with a few clicks on these MacTopo maps.
