You can intercept and record MSN Messenger conversations traveling to or from users on your local network with this app. MSN Messenger Monitor Sniffer's bare-bones interface is simple text data, a few small function buttons, and a few pull-down menus. Some users may have difficulty setting up the program to work over the network, but the Help file adequately covers most problems.

This app immediately looks for open MSN chats. Computers running Messenger are listed in a traditional file-tree format. Clicking any listed system displays the MSN username and the usernames for anyone chatting with that operator. Highlighting any user displays the time, sender, and content for every captured message. The program makes it very easy to save chat logs automatically or manually. If monitoring the whole network generates too many hits, you can easily select an IP range to watch.

It's very quick and simple to set up sending e-mail or FTP versions of the chat logs. MSN Messenger Monitor Sniffer is an easy-to-use and helpful tool for system techs and company administrators.
