MRC for Mac

MRC allows the resource fork of Mac files to be extracted into a PC compatible file for transfer via the internet. Macintosh files typically consist of two parts, a resource fork and a data fork. Unfortunately not all computers have these two forks, most just have the data fork. This causes a lot of problems when transferring files from a Mac onto a PC and then back onto a Mac as the resource fork is often lost. Using a tool such as MRC you can save the resource fork into a file which is safe to transfer via PCs.
