Publisher's description
From Logiccell :MP3Trim is a utility that allows you to trim MP3 music files. Useful on files that contain unwanted sounds at the beginning or end, MP3Trim works by trimming precisely at MPEG frame increments. It can automatically detect digital silence and recover wasted disk space occupied by silent frames. In addition, it recognizes ID3 tags and cleans up missing or incomplete frames and WAV headers (for WAV-embedded MP3s). This version features a better error message when the disk gets full, changes the default threshold for normalization to -3dB, which gives a little volume headroom for the tracks with wide dynamic ranges, and contains an added check for tracks that end abruptly.
Version 2.12 adds F10 key shortcut to open the option dialog window and colored text for abruptly ending files.

Version: MP3Trim 2.12
Pros: Nice interface, nice functionality. Will work well for limited purposes cutting ends off of small mp3s.
I like the fade functions at song beginning/end.
Cons: Totally useless for ME.
The free version can't trim songs that are any longer than approximately 7:30 (7 minutes, 30 seconds). Well, this may be OK for most users, but unfortunately I like techno, so this utility can only trim about 2/3 of my songs.
I have found and use MPEG Audio Scissors (it's also free). Google it. It handles songs that are MUCH longer. I have opened a mp3 that is 2hours & 30minutes long, and split it into 3 mp3s (will fit on CDs easily). It takes me about 1 minute with this program to trim a mp3 PERFECTLY.

Version: MP3Trim 2.12
"Does a GREAT Job of Trimming MP3 Files."
Pros: Does just what it claims - trims blank space (as much as you choose) from the beginning and/or end of an MP3 file.
Cons: This utility could be improved by moving the settings out of the registry and into an INI file to make the app portable...

Version: MP3Trim 2.12
"Great Program- Does Exactly what It Says"
Pros: Not sure what the other reviewers issues were (blindly trimming? Could ya be a little more specific?) I found the interface very easy to use. Love the fade in and out features. Love the previewing. Its also nice to have a self contained exe without any installation required.

Version: MP3Trim 2.12
Pros: It's small, and does trim from front and read of file.
Cons: I have no idea what I'm trimming. I have to guess the time from the front and rear I want to trim.

Version: MP3Trim 2.12
"Does what it says, but could do with an easier-to-use GUI"
Pros: Does what it says and can fade in and out
Cons: Found it awkward to trim from end as had to know length of track and convert minutes to seconds.
