From Lycos Europe:Lycos Inside is a set of tools and functions to make your e-mail experience with Lycos Mail even better. You can register for a free Lycos Mail account from the setup and start using it directly. Lycos Inside s three main features are mailbox synchronization with Outlook and Outlook Express, an online drive up to 10GB where you can store music and video files, and a notification tool. Lycos Inside integrates with Outlook and Windows Explorer and alerts you from the system tray icon when you receive new e-mails. With Lycos Inside you re always connected to your mailbox and saved the time to go to the Web mail looking for new messages.

"Lycos inside is a redundant application soon"
Pros: Used to (mostly) work to synchronize lycos with outlook
Cons: Not really vista compatible, and lycos is ceasing its email service from feb 15 2009, rendering the application rather useless.
Summary: Past its sell-by date.
