For animation professionals, Loud Animation Studio supports advanced features to create stop-motion, cel or other kinds of animation. Features include: onion-skinning and "flicker" camera previews, timeline with audio waveforms to sync animations, moveable markers (animation guides) and more. Loud Animation Studio is the first full-featured camera-based animation solution for MacOS X.

Stop-motion, claymation, paper-animation, and time-lapse professionals now have strong tools to create high-quality animations with their digital video cameras.

Loud Animation Studio interfaces with your digital video camera and lets you capture images to build an animation. Similar to Stop-Motion Studio, users can view their movies in real-time as they capture images and edit them. Loud Animation Studio builds on the feature set of Stop-Motion Studio with a graphical timeline similar to those found in video editing packages. Loud Animation Studio's timeline is build specifically for frame-based animation and reflects multi-frame grabs.

Loud Animation Studio includes the following features:

Capture frames from your digital video camera (Firewire/USB/iSight) to build an animation
Resequence your animation shots in a visual timeline based on frames
Retime and reshoot frames
Import or record audio directly into your animation
Graphic waveforms of audio tracks in the timeline can be used as animation guides
"Markers," visual cues to properly align your scene before shooting
Color correction
Import images created in other software
Export animation frames or entire sequences to images or movie in any QuickTime codec
Time-lapse photography
