Logosmartz, a simple design program, will appeal to those trying to save money by designing their own business logos. While it lives up to its promise that anyone can create a logo, its results may not be what some amateur designers have in mind.
The interface for Logosmartz is divided into two distinct screens. The first allows users to scroll through the various logos and their accompanying example text. The second is the design screen, organized much like Microsoft's Paint, with tools to create new logos or alter the existing ones. Both are simple to navigate and your options feel highly intuitive. Creating a logo was a mixed bag, due mainly to the quality of the templates. While some of the logos looked clean and professional, others had a more amateurish feel with some images that resembled clip art. However, we were pleased with our ability to jump right in and move around all the parts and design something that reflected what we had in mind. And for those still unsure of what some tools may do, a detailed Help file is available.
While the trial will only allow users to test its tools and not publish anything, we felt it lived up to its billing that anyone can design a logo. While the results may vary depending on how professional of a template you choose, those looking to quickly give their business an identity should try this download.

"Returned full value of money"
Pros: This is such an easy to use software with so many features in it. Now i need not to waste time in making logos for my business. Everything is done by this software and all this with such a low price.

"License expires after 1 year - be careful"
Pros: It was easy to make a low quality logo. Once I was done however, I had to pay a service to redraw the logo and turn it into a vector format that could be used for printing, docs, etc.
Cons: Cannot export transparent vector images which means logos are basically useless if you need to use them to run and market a real business.
Summary: Can?t produce transparent vector logos which you will need if you plan to do any real marketing. Also, they do not tell you the license expires in a year (Except in terms hidden from plain site) and you will have to pay again if you ever want to up... read more >>
